Tourism Marketing Coordinator Says Good-bye

I have acted as the Trail of the Buffalo Tourism Marketing Coordinator since January, 2004 and after 7 years will be concluding my contract.  I will conclude my duties as Tourism Marketing Coordinator on January 31, 2011.

I have enjoyed meeting and working with all of the tourism advocates in the region.  Thanks to the great partnerships and energy invested in tourism, east central Alberta has and will continue to grow its tourism industry.

There is excitement building around the Trail of the Buffalo’s new Brand Promise:  Redefining Alberta’s Rush.  It is now here on the Trail of the Buffalo, located between Edmonton and Calgary to the Saskatchewan border.  Whether it be riding in an open air cockpit, soaring in a hot air balloon, driving a nitro filled mud bog car or flying across the ice on a sail boat.  You can find your Rush in the Battle River Region.

I look forward to continuing to watch the tourism industry grow within the region as more Rush activities and events are marketed to Alberta, Canada and beyond.

Yours in Regional Tourism,

Cindy
