What is the Passport Program?

The Trail of the Buffalo Passport Program is designed to promote attractions through the tourism region as visitors Travel the Trail. From May 15th until September 15th tourists will be visiting the attractions in the passport to collect all 24 stamps in the hopes of winning the Grand Prize. Visitors will return their Passports to the Trail of the Buffalo to be entered for the prize.

We encourage Tourism Operators, Unique Stores & Attractions, Museums and Golf Courses from all across the Trail of the Buffalo to participate in the Passport Program to promote their business. We will only have a limited 24 participants for the first year of this program. The first attractions to send us payment with their registration will be included in the Passport.

The passports will be revealed the beginning of May. Tentatively, we plan on attending the Travel Alberta Spring Showcase and releasing the Passports to Visitor Information Centre Staff from across the province. The cost to participate is $150 for Trail of the Buffalo Members and $200 for Non-­Members. The passports will be available at the participating businesses and select VIC’s in our area. Your advertisement will reach a minimum of 1000 Visitors!

We are also looking to Participating attractions to help build a GRAND Prize for those visitors that visit and get a stamp from every business in the Passport. We would also like 2 more prizes for those that fill in the majority.
